Mission support                

 

- we as a church have decided this year to have a special mission project -

Margate Baptist Church

Mission Project 2010

Kampala Childrens’
Centre in Uganda
 offering a home and an education to children
with no parents & no hope

We also have several information sheets, CDs and DVDs, which contain more background details about the work at KCC.

During the year, there will be several Sunday events devoted to this project – look out for more information coming soon.

 

Ø  We need ideas for raising money, so that we can support the childrens’ centre in a worthwhile way. If we can raise £500, we can furnish a home for several children to live in. If we can raise £1000, we can help to build a new bungalow for more children.

Ø  We can all pray for the work in Uganda, and ask God to help and bless the children there.

Ø  It is hoped that a choir from the Kampala Childrens’ Centre will be coming to Margate later in 2010. Look out for more dates and information!

Ø  We can find out more about KCC by looking on the internet, or by reading their leaflets and watching their DVDs.

Ø  If you have any ideas for fund-raising for KCC, please speak to Stephen or one of the Mission Support Group. We not only need ideas – we also need people who are willing to organize and plan things during the year.
